The exits are not sealed
Wind is a live force that is shaped by the environment it encounters. These are sculptural creatures made of plastic trash found and shaped in the north of Iceland; they swell and play to embody the invisible wind, channeling and translating the landscape into creature-like movement. The plastic they are made of will last a thousand years, the creatures made of it reframe the equivocal potential of that ‘life’ in the context of the beautiful natural world. Made at a residency at ArtsIceland in 2023.
